About the Role
Perform routine inspections, diagnostics, troubleshooting, and repairs on ASIC mining hardware. Install and set up new mining machines, monitor system performance, maintain maintenance logs, follow safety protocols, operate tools and machinery, replace and clean air filters, and respond to emergency calls as needed.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Technical or vocational training in mining technology is a plus.
- Minimum of 1 year experience in production, manufacturing, construction, shipping, electrical, or troubleshooting.
- Strong knowledge of mining equipment, machinery, and associated technologies.
- Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, schematics, and engineering drawings.
- Excellent teamwork and communication skills.
- Ability to stand for seven hours per day.
- Ability to lift and carry 30 to 50 pounds.
- Willingness to adhere to strict safety guidelines.
- Availability for on-call emergency response.
Responsibilities
- Perform routine inspections on mining equipment to identify and address potential issues.
- Repair and maintain ASIC mining hardware.
- Collaborate with engineers and team members to troubleshoot equipment malfunctions.
- Adhere to safety protocols and guidelines during all operations.
- Assist in the installation and setup of new mining equipment.
- Monitor equipment performance and efficiency and adjust settings as needed.
- Maintain detailed records of maintenance activities and equipment status.
- Replace and clean air filters as needed.
- Operate tools and machinery required for maintenance tasks.
- Stay informed about advancements in mining technology and equipment.
- Respond to emergency calls and be on call during emergencies.
