About the Role
You will collaborate directly with the CTO to architect and build core infrastructure. You will design and implement consensus mechanisms, transaction reordering, and state management, tackle distributed systems and cryptography challenges, set benchmarks and best practices, and iterate rapidly with integration partners.
Requirements
- Strong understanding of blockchain systems, consensus mechanisms, and cryptographic principles
- Experience building scalable, high-performance backend systems
- Proficiency in Rust
- Experience with libraries like alloy and reth (preferred)
- Ability to learn new technologies quickly
- Experience working in fast-paced small teams
- Commitment to producing clean, maintainable code and documentation
Responsibilities
- Design and implement critical systems, including consensus mechanisms, transaction reordering, and state management
- Address distributed systems and cryptography challenges to improve scalability and robustness
- Collaborate with the founding team and integration partners to iterate rapidly
- Establish benchmarks, tools, and best practices for efficiency, scalability, and developer experience
