About the Role
You will design, develop, and deploy scalable backend systems. You will build and maintain secure RESTful APIs, manage database schemas and queries, monitor system performance, and improve reliability. You will collaborate on product delivery and maintain quality through reviews, pair programming, and automated testing.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
- 4+ years of backend development experience
- Proficiency in Python, Go, C++, or Java
- Experience with PostgreSQL, MySQL, MongoDB, or other relational and NoSQL databases
- Familiarity with AWS, Azure, or GCP
- Knowledge of API design and development
- Knowledge of security and data-protection best practices
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and deploy scalable and efficient backend systems
- Create and maintain robust, secure RESTful APIs
- Design and manage database schemas and optimize queries
- Collaborate with frontend developers, product managers, and designers
- Monitor systems for performance issues, errors, and anomalies
- Implement fixes and improvements
- Maintain code quality through code reviews, pair programming, and unit and integration tests
- Stay current with backend technologies and best practices
