About the Role
You will shape and operationalise the global Data & AI Governance framework, ensuring data and AI are trusted, compliant, and used responsibly across underwriting, claims, finance, and beyond. You'll design and lead the enterprise Data Governance operating model, chair Data & AI Governance Committees, and influence senior stakeholders across the business. You will establish policies covering data classification, quality, retention, and access, and build AI governance aligned to the EU AI Act, GDPR, and other global regulations. You'll oversee model risk management, AI lifecycle governance, and third-party AI usage, while driving data quality, metadata management, and lineage transparency. You will partner closely with architecture, cybersecurity, and business teams to embed governance-by-design, and enable self-service data and AI capabilities across domains.
Requirements
- 10+ years in data governance, risk, or data leadership roles
- Strong experience within insurance, reinsurance, or financial services
- Deep knowledge of GDPR, AI governance, and model risk frameworks
- Experience with governance tooling (e.g., Collibra, Purview, Erwin)
- Strong understanding of AWS-based data ecosystems
- Proven ability to influence across technical and business stakeholders
