About the Role
You will design, integrate, and optimize microphone and speaker hardware and firmware. You will prototype, test, validate, and deploy audio systems, collaborate on signal-processing and machine-learning pipelines, and establish performance metrics for production readiness.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related technical discipline
- Audio hardware design experience with microphones, speakers, and signal chains
- Experience using audio measurement and validation equipment
- Experience with real-time audio streaming systems
- Digital signal processing knowledge
- Knowledge of noise reduction, audio enhancement, and speech capture optimization
- Experience analyzing test data
- Experience collaborating with software, electrical, mechanical, and manufacturing teams
- Embedded systems and firmware development knowledge
- Machine learning application to audio processing
- Consumer electronics product development experience
- Factory-level audio test and manufacturing validation experience
- Voice interaction, beamforming, speech enhancement, or audio perception experience
Responsibilities
- Deliver robust microphone and speaker systems
- Improve speech capture, localization accuracy, and audio reliability through testing and optimization
- Integrate audio hardware with signal processing, VAD, DOA, noise suppression, and machine learning pipelines
- Establish validation methodologies and performance metrics
- Drive audio performance improvements through field testing and data analysis
