About the Role

You will own recurring performance reporting processes and deliverables, including client reports, presentation materials, database updates, and third-party portal updates. You will validate and reconcile complex financial data, maintain detailed procedures, manage deadlines, resolve issues, and support client and prospect meeting materials. You will also analyze performance data, respond to inquiries, assist with RFP and RFI requests, and improve reporting through standardization, automation, technology, and AI-enabled tools.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited undergraduate university in Finance, Accounting, Statistics, or a related analytically oriented field, with proven academic success.
  • 2-4 years of experience in investment performance, client or investor reporting, portfolio analytics, investment operations, data analytics, or a related financial-services function.
  • Strong analytical aptitude and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work with complex financial datasets, investigate discrepancies, and ensure reporting accuracy.
  • Strong organizational and project-management skills.
  • Ability to independently own recurring deliverables, manage competing deadlines, and maintain process documentation.
  • Intermediate Microsoft Excel skills, including manipulating, reconciling, and analyzing large datasets.
  • Familiarity with Power Query, Power BI, AI-enabled tools, or other reporting and automation technologies is a plus.
  • Demonstrated interest in process improvement and automation.
  • Strong written and verbal communication and collaboration skills.
  • Ability to prepare polished client-facing materials and work with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Knowledge of private markets, investment performance measurement, or private-market fund structures is preferred.
  • Self-starter with ownership, intellectual curiosity, sound judgment, and a continuous-improvement mindset.
  • CFA, CAIA, CIPM, or progress toward a relevant professional designation is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Own accurate and timely recurring performance reporting processes and deliverables.
  • Assume responsibility for newly established reporting processes after requirements and procedures are defined.
  • Support private wealth sales by updating materials and preparing client and prospect meeting materials.
  • Respond to performance- and data-related inquiries.
  • Maintain complete and current process documentation.
  • Perform data validation, reconciliation, and quality-control reviews.
  • Identify and implement scalable reporting improvements through standardization, automation, technology, and improved data utilization.
  • Collaborate with Investor Relations, Investment Teams, Marketing, Finance, Accounting, Middle Office, Technology, and other functions.
  • Assist with ad hoc performance analyses, RFP and RFI requests, and other PRA initiatives.
  • Deepen knowledge of private markets performance measurement, investment strategies, fund structures, and investor reporting needs.
