About the Role
You will configure, operate, and troubleshoot Splunk, ITSI, Enterprise Security, and Cribl platforms. You will onboard telemetry, build searches and dashboards, support security monitoring, automate platform work, and maintain technical documentation and runbooks.
Requirements
- Experience with Splunk Enterprise administration or engineering
- Experience with Splunk ITSI or observability technologies
- Experience with Cribl Stream or similar telemetry pipelines
- Working knowledge of SPL
- Experience onboarding and troubleshooting machine data
- Understanding of parsing, field extraction, timestamps, indexing, and data routing
- Understanding of SIEM and cybersecurity logging principles
- Familiarity with Linux/Unix, networking, syslog, REST APIs, certificates, and enterprise infrastructure
- Analytical and troubleshooting skills
Responsibilities
- Configure and maintain Splunk Enterprise environments
- Develop Splunk ITSI services, KPIs, dashboards, alerts, and monitoring
- Configure Cribl telemetry pipelines
- Support Splunk Enterprise Security and security monitoring
- Onboard and troubleshoot telemetry data
- Develop SPL searches, dashboards, alerts, and reports
- Support Splunk CIM normalization and data models
- Monitor platform health, capacity, availability, and performance
- Support telemetry integrations using syslog, REST APIs, HEC, and Universal Forwarders
- Maintain technical documentation and engineering runbooks
- Participate in incident-response troubleshooting
