You will conduct a four-month research project on AI economics, policy, security, or society. You may analyze AI’s economic effects, labor-market impacts, cyber and bio capabilities, model performance, resilience mechanisms, and early-warning metrics. You will communicate research results and actionable recommendations.
Requirements
- Fluency in Python programming
- Availability to work full-time for the Fellows Program
- Strong track record of empirical research
- Work authorization in the US, UK, or Canada
- Location in the US, UK, or Canada during the program
Responsibilities
- Design and conduct empirical research on AI's economic effects
- Develop methods for studying AI's effects on labor markets and society
- Analyze AI-enabled cyber and bio capabilities
- Measure model performance with custom harnesses
- Identify mechanisms to improve societal resilience to AI threats
- Identify AI research and development early-warning metrics
- Communicate research results and recommendations
