About the Role

You will investigate transaction-monitoring alerts and customer profiles, prepare clear reports, and respond to regulatory and information requests. You will conduct Travel Rule activities, including customer communications and VASP due diligence, using internal investigation tools. You will support compliance audits, manage customer exits arising from reviews, and escalate potential regulatory breaches or delivery blockers.

Requirements

• Tertiary education equivalent to graduate level.
• At least 3 years of experience in an AML and counter-terrorist-financing related field.
• Analytical skills.
• Attention to detail and experience writing processes and documenting review and investigation outcomes.
• High proficiency in English.
• A valid permit to work in Indonesia if not an Indonesian citizen.
• Interpersonal, communication, and negotiation skills.
• Familiarity with cryptocurrencies is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Execute transaction-monitoring alerts, regulatory reporting activities, and regulatory requests.
• Review, analyse, and investigate matters within the AML Policy and Risk Management and Compliance Programme framework.
• Review your work, communicate progress, and escalate blockers.
• Support internal compliance audits.
• Identify and escalate suspected regulatory breaches.
• Create initial reports and analyses for review.
• Manage Travel Rule activities, including customer communications, VASP due diligence, and queue review.
• Use Chainalysis Reactor to review and assess customer transaction alerts.
• Draft responses to regulatory, banking-partner, and ad hoc information requests.
• Assist with in-depth transactional investigations into customer profiles.
• Manage customer exits resulting from transactional reviews.
• Finalise and file outbound regulatory reports with the MLRO, subject to review.
• Use Chainalysis KYT, Chainalysis Reactor, and ComplyAdvantage to conduct investigations and analyses.
• Compile accurate reports and contribute to key risk indicators.
• Build working relationships and provide insights supporting strategic goals.
