About the Role
You will research and develop methods that advance large language models. You will build tooling and infrastructure for training and evaluation, work with multimodal data, optimize distributed training systems, develop reasoning, code-generation, and agent-based capabilities, deploy AI systems, and release frontier models through open source.
Requirements
- Scientific contributions through publications or open-source projects
- Experience with PyTorch, JAX, Ray, or Kubernetes
- Proficiency in Python, Rust, Go, or Java
- Software systems design
- Experience training large transformer models in distributed settings
- Familiarity with MLOps, fine-tuning, evaluation, and deployment
- Engineering competence in scalable and reliable systems
Responsibilities
- Research and develop methods to advance large language models
- Design and implement AI model training and evaluation tooling
- Ship AI systems with scientists, engineers, and product teams
