About the Role

Join Xsolla's AI-first engineering initiative by building internal AI tooling, integrations, and proof-of-concept projects on Xsolla APIs. The internship involves shipping code to real users, using agentic coding tools as the default workflow, and collaborating with senior engineers and interns across global regions.

Requirements

  • Genuine passion for building, demonstrated through side projects, hackathons, open-source contributions, or shipped work.
  • Experience using agentic coding tools such as Claude Code, Cursor, Copilot, or similar.
  • Ability to explain how AI was used and how the resulting work was validated.
  • Bias toward action and willingness to start building before receiving a formal specification.
  • Comfort developing modern full-stack solutions.
  • Current undergraduate or graduate student, or recent graduate, in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related program.

Responsibilities

  • Partner with senior engineers to identify friction that AI tooling and integrations can remove, then build solutions.
  • Build applications and integrations on Xsolla APIs and SDKs using AI-assisted development.
  • Ship internal tools and customer-facing integrations used by real users.
  • Use agentic coding tools such as Claude Code or Cursor as the default development workflow.
  • Share work in weekly lightning-talk demos.
  • Work with minimal process by taking context and a problem and determining the implementation.
  • Collaborate with senior engineers and fellow interns across markets.

Hiring Process

Submit a link to a GitHub profile, deployed project, or other self-directed work, plus a short written answer or a 2-minute video explaining something difficult recently built and why it was built. The role also includes a criminal history, employment, and education verification background check.
