Required and preferred rules are kept separate and reflect the wording in the original posting.

About the Role

Work alongside senior engineers to identify friction that AI tooling and integrations can remove, then build and ship solutions on Xsolla APIs and SDKs. The internship emphasizes real-user impact, AI-assisted development, minimal process, and weekly demos with a global intern cohort.

Requirements

  • Genuine passion for building, demonstrated through side projects, hackathons, open-source contributions, or self-directed work.
  • Practical AI fluency with Claude Code, Cursor, Copilot, or similar agentic coding tools.
  • Ability to explain how AI was used and how the resulting work was validated.
  • Bias toward action and comfort starting with ambiguous problems.
  • Comfort developing modern full-stack solutions.
  • Current undergraduate or graduate student, or recent graduate, in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.

Responsibilities

  • Partner with senior engineers to identify friction that AI tooling and integrations can remove and build solutions.
  • Build applications and integrations on Xsolla APIs and SDKs using AI-assisted development.
  • Ship internal tools or customer-facing integrations that reach real users.
  • Use agentic coding tools such as Claude Code or Cursor as the default workflow.
  • Share work in weekly lightning-talk demos.
  • Work with minimal process by turning context, problems, and mentorship into working software.
  • Collaborate with senior engineers and fellow interns across markets.

Hiring Process

Applicants provide a GitHub profile, deployed project, or other work sample, plus a 2–3 sentence written answer or 2-minute video answering what they built recently and why. Candidates who proceed past the final interview may undergo a legally compliant background check with separate written consent.
