About the Role
You will design and manage Active ETF platform technology, build algorithms for research and portfolio construction, and develop prototype and production tools. You will create reporting and analytics, integrate platform capabilities into portfolio-management workflows, and partner on predictive and optimization-based solutions.
Requirements
- Quantitative degree in mathematics, science, engineering, or computer science
- Python development expertise
- Understanding of active investment processes, research, and portfolio management
- Knowledge of fixed-income or equity markets
- Knowledge of ETFs as an investment vehicle
- Familiarity with funds and investment styles
- Technical project management experience
- Knowledge of BlackRock Aladdin tools
- Problem-solving, teamwork, and communication skills
Responsibilities
- Design, build, and manage ETF primary platform technology and infrastructure
- Architect scalable Active ETF investment processes
- Design and implement algorithms for research, pre-trade analytics, portfolio construction, workflow automation, and investment controls
- Develop prototype and production tools
- Develop reporting methods and analytics to measure tool improvements
- Build common libraries and components with architecture teams
- Integrate primary-platform capabilities into portfolio-management processes
- Partner on predictive analytics and optimization-based solutions
