About the Role

You will join the Accounts Payable team supporting Dentons UK and Middle East LLP from the Warsaw office. You'll primarily focus on one of several core AP roles handling routine cash transactions, while also receiving training over time to cover other roles within the team for absence coverage. You'll process invoices, expense claims and payment runs across various UKME offices, support closing activities, manage vendor accounts, and liaise with suppliers and internal teams to keep everything running smoothly and compliantly.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is good to have
• 1-3 years of previous experience working within an Accounts Payable process
• Good working knowledge of MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
• General understanding of VAT rules in relation to input tax
• Broad understanding of potential risk areas within team processes
• Experience working in a law firm or professional services environment is an advantage
• Very good written and verbal communication skills in English
• Strong focus on accuracy, attention to detail, consistency, and quality
• Positive attitude and good team player
• Strong problem solving and analytical skills
• Ability to demonstrate initiative and proactivity
• Understanding of the need for documentation and well-defined procedures

Responsibilities

• Process and manage AP transactions, including invoices, expense claims, and payment runs
• Assist with month-end and year-end closing activities
• Generate the weekly supplier payment run from the practice management system (Elite)
• Create new Vendor/Employee accounts and verify bank details on Elite
• Reconcile vendor balances
• Perform bank reconciliation and credit allocations
• Assist the UK Cashiers Manager with ad hoc duties
• Answer queries from suppliers
• Collaborate with internal teams to ensure compliance with company policies and procedures
