About the Role
You will build automation and self-healing tools for software-defined networking infrastructure. You will improve routing convergence, traffic engineering, policy enforcement, fault isolation, availability, latency, and performance; investigate incidents through telemetry and packet analysis; and optimize networking systems, drivers, and control planes.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience
- 5+ years of professional experience in production engineering, systems engineering, or networking engineering
- Experience automating network provisioning, configuration, and remediation
- Experience with SDN platforms and protocols
- Proficiency in Python, Go, or C
- Experience with Infrastructure as Code and deployment tooling
- Knowledge of Linux networking internals, kernel modules, and packet scheduling
- Familiarity with BGP, OSPF, IS-IS, MPLS, and network virtualization
- Experience with containerized workloads, Kubernetes, Docker, and CNI plugins
- Incident response, troubleshooting, and documentation experience
- Experience operating managed networking services at scale
