About the Role
You will perform fund administration and accounting tasks, including handling investor transactions, preparing capital calls, producing NAVs (capital accounts, financial reports), and preparing annual financial statements. You will work closely with Product and Engineering teams to enhance fund accounting processes and pave the way towards automated fund administration. You will tackle challenges at the intersection of law, accounting, finance, regulation and tax, and proactively share knowledge with team members on how to best automate fund structures to strengthen processes and improve products.
Requirements
- Prior work experience in the preparation of fund accounts and financial statements in accordance with IFRS, US GAAP, Lux GAAP, etc.
- 4+ years of Accounting or Finance experience within the Funds industry preferred
- Strong understanding of complex fund accounting mechanisms specifically closed-end Funds
- Provide audit support
- Numerical Bachelor's degree, preferably within Accountancy/Finance
- In-depth knowledge and interest in the Private Equity, Venture Capital and Start up ecosystem
- Part-qualified ACA/ACCA accountant (not essential)
