About the Role
You will design and optimize data models, pipelines, and curated datasets for compliance and risk use cases. You will define business metrics, maintain data dictionaries, monitor data quality and lineage, and build AI-enabled automation. You will troubleshoot critical pipelines, support on-call operations, meet stakeholder SLAs, and translate business needs into end-to-end data solutions.
Requirements
- Have at least 10 years of related experience with a Bachelor’s degree, 8 years with a Master’s degree, or equivalent experience.
- Demonstrate high proficiency in SQL, Python, and Dbt.
- Design medium-to-large data engineering solutions across project scoping, design, development, testing, deployment, and documentation.
- Use ETL scheduling technologies with dependency checking, such as Airflow or Prefect.
- Design schemas and dimensional data models.
- Set up data quality and data lineage monitoring.
- Use AI and agentic automation to support data-driven decisions.
Responsibilities
- Lead the creation and optimization of data models for eventing, customer-level, and process-level data using AI code generation.
- Standardize business and product metric definitions in curated datasets.
- Develop data dictionaries and related documentation.
- Build monitoring for data quality and lineage.
- Build AI agents for false-positive reduction and automated resolution.
- Participate in the on-call rotation and monitor daily execution.
- Diagnose, log, and fix business-critical pipelines to meet stakeholder SLAs.
- Automate operational processes through AI agents.
- Translate business requirements into data requirements and automated end-to-end solutions.
