Senior Cloud Security Engineer

About the Role
You will mature cloud infrastructure and security systems at scale by designing strategy and implementing security best practices. You will provide technical guidance on architecture, configuration management, and environment design; automate security using IaC and tooling; manage GCP IAM to enforce least privilege; identify cloud vulnerabilities and drive mitigations; and support cloud security audits.
Requirements
- Experience managing cloud security programs and cloud-native security solutions
- Experience with Identity and Access Management (IAM)
- Expert-level knowledge of cloud infrastructure components, preferably GCP
- Ability to audit and provide audit support for cloud security controls
- Experience with infrastructure vulnerability testing tools
- Experience with Infrastructure as Code tools such as Terraform
- Experience with Cloud Application Platforms such as Heroku
- Strong bias for action and ability to prioritize in a dynamic environment
Responsibilities
- Provide technical guidance and leadership on cloud security architecture
- Standardize security across environments using automation and infrastructure as code
- Design and implement configuration management and secure environment design
- Manage GCP Identity and Access Management to enforce least privilege
- Identify and communicate cloud platform vulnerabilities and mitigation options
- Serve as a cloud security subject matter expert and maintain knowledge of cloud security technologies
- Participate in cloud environment audits and provide audit support
