About the Role

You will design, build and maintain scalable backend services that power mission-critical financial workflows. You will own features end-to-end, from design and implementation to monitoring and iteration. You will build event-driven serverless and Kubernetes microservices, participate in architecture and code reviews, ensure systems are observable and resilient, write testable maintainable code, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver reliable solutions.

Requirements

• 6+ years of professional experience as a Back-End Engineer (Senior-level or Tech Lead depth expected)
• Strong hands-on experience with Domain Driven Development
• Strong experience with Node.js and modern JavaScript/TypeScript
• Solid hands-on experience with AWS or equivalent cloud platforms (Google Cloud Azure)
• Proven experience building serverless and Kubernetes architectures (Lambda API Gateway SQS SNS DynamoDB etc.)
• Experience designing and operating event-driven microservices
• Strong understanding of RESTful APIs asynchronous workflows and distributed systems
• Experience with testing strategies including unit integration and contract tests
• Highly experienced in designing monitoring and observability systems
• Nice to have: exposure to fintech payments and high-regulation systems
• Nice to have: basic understanding of blockchain or crypto transaction flows
• Nice to have: experience improving system observability logging and monitoring
