About the Role

You will own the data transformation layer and build scalable data models using dbt, SQL, Trino, and GCP-based infrastructure. You will establish modeling, testing, monitoring, and change-management standards; work with stakeholders on requirements; and integrate data models with BI and reverse-ETL processes.

Requirements

  • 4+ years of analytics engineering or data engineering experience focused on ELT transformation
  • Experience owning data products end-to-end
  • Expert SQL and dbt skills
  • Python proficiency
  • Experience optimizing OLTP and OLAP queries
  • Proficiency with semantic layer modeling
  • Experience owning CI/CD workflows, version control, and code-review standards
  • Familiarity with GCP or AWS

Responsibilities

  • Design, build, and maintain scalable data models using dbt and SQL
  • Establish data modeling, development, testing, and monitoring standards
  • Collaborate with business stakeholders to deliver reliable data products
  • Integrate data models with BI tools and reverse ETL processes
  • Manage source control, code reviews, change management, and data monitoring
  • Improve data warehouse performance and ETL efficiency
