About the Role
You will listen to podcast audio and transcribe episodes into accurate, well formatted written transcripts. You will ensure correct grammar, punctuation, and formatting, identify speakers and structure dialogue, edit and proofread for clarity, and meet turnaround times. You will follow provided style guides, work independently, manage your time, and may use transcription tools. Payments are calculated based on total audio hours completed.
Requirements
- 3 - 5 years experience
- Fluency in Slovak native or near native preferred
- Strong command of grammar spelling and written communication in Slovak
- Ability to understand different accents and varying audio quality
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
- Experience in audio transcription podcasts interviews or similar content (nice to have)
- Familiarity with transcription tools (nice to have)
- Experience with bilingual transcription or translation (nice to have)
Responsibilities
- Transcribe podcast episodes from audio to text in Slovak with high accuracy
- Ensure proper grammar punctuation and formatting throughout transcripts
- Identify speakers and structure dialogue clearly
- Edit and proofread transcripts for clarity and readability
- Meet turnaround times for assigned episodes
- Follow provided style guides or formatting requirements
