About the Role
You will listen to Latvian podcast audio and transcribe spoken content into accurate, well-formatted written transcripts. You will apply correct grammar and punctuation, identify and label speakers, edit and proofread for clarity, follow provided style guides, and meet assigned turnaround times while managing your own schedule.
Requirements
- 3 - 5 years of relevant experience
- Fluency in Latvian (native or near-native preferred)
- Strong command of grammar spelling and written communication in Latvian
- Ability to understand different accents and varying audio quality
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
- Experience in audio transcription or transcribing podcasts (nice to have)
- Familiarity with transcription tools (nice to have)
- Experience with bilingual transcription or translation (nice to have)
Responsibilities
- Transcribe podcast episodes from audio to text in Latvian with high accuracy
- Ensure proper grammar punctuation and formatting throughout transcripts
- Identify speakers and structure dialogue clearly
- Edit and proofread transcripts for clarity and readability
- Meet turnaround times for assigned episodes
- Follow provided style guides or formatting requirements
