About the Role
You will listen to podcast audio and convert it into clear, accurate Kazakh transcripts. You will ensure correct grammar, punctuation, and formatting, identify speakers, and structure dialogue for readability. You will edit and proofread transcripts, follow provided style guides, and meet assigned turnaround times.
Requirements
- Fluency in Kazakh (native or near-native preferred)
- Strong command of grammar, spelling, and written communication in Kazakh
- Ability to understand different accents and varying audio quality
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
- 3 - 5 years experience
- Experience in audio transcription (podcasts, interviews, or similar content) - nice to have
- Familiarity with transcription tools - nice to have
- Experience with bilingual transcription or translation - nice to have
Responsibilities
- Transcribe podcast episodes from audio to text in Kazakh with high accuracy
- Ensure proper grammar, punctuation, and formatting throughout transcripts
- Identify speakers and structure dialogue clearly
- Edit and proofread transcripts for clarity and readability
- Meet turnaround times for assigned episodes
- Follow provided style guides or formatting requirements
