About the Role
You will transcribe podcast episodes from audio to text in Irish with high accuracy. You will ensure correct grammar, punctuation, and formatting throughout transcripts, identify speakers and structure dialogue clearly, edit and proofread for clarity and readability, meet turnaround times for assigned episodes, and follow provided style guides.
Requirements
- Fluency in Irish (native or near-native preferred)
- Strong command of grammar spelling and written communication in Irish
- Ability to understand different accents and varying audio quality
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
- Experience in audio transcription
- Experience transcribing podcasts or media content
- Familiarity with transcription tools
- Experience with bilingual transcription or translation
