You will apply correct grammar and punctuation, identify and label speakers, edit and proofread transcripts for readability, and meet assigned turnaround times. You will follow provided style guides, use the platform time tracker, and work a flexible remote schedule with payments based on completed audio hours.
Requirements
- 3-5 years of experience
- Fluency in Afrikaans (native or near-native preferred)
- Strong command of Afrikaans grammar spelling and written communication
- Ability to understand different accents and varying audio quality
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
- Experience in audio transcription or familiarity with transcription tools (nice to have)
- Experience transcribing podcasts interviews or similar media content (nice to have)
