The platform provides a developer-friendly toolkit that automates off-chain communication to lower deployment costs. Axon is highly interoperable, being fully EVM compatible with planned integration of the Inter-Blockchain Communication Protocol (IBC) to connect with the Cosmos ecosystem. It uses a Byzantine Fault Tolerance (BFT) based consensus algorithm that supports high throughput (over 3000 TPS) with fast transaction finality.
