About the Role

You will design, develop, and maintain Node.js applications for trading infrastructure. You will help implement and optimize algorithms and data-processing pipelines, participate in code reviews, improve software quality and performance, and debug issues and bottlenecks. You will stay current with Node.js and quantitative-finance tools and technologies.

Requirements

Demonstrate strong proficiency in Node.js development and server-side JavaScript
Have experience with WebSocket real-time communication
Work proficiently with Redis for caching and data storage
Be familiar with Bee-Queue or similar job-queue systems
Understand object-oriented programming and design patterns
Design and develop scalable, high-performance applications
Have experience designing and integrating RESTful APIs
Use version-control systems such as Git
Know HTML, CSS, and JavaScript
Be familiar with MySQL, MongoDB, or PostgreSQL
Demonstrate problem-solving and debugging skills
Communicate effectively with stakeholders

Responsibilities

Collaborate with the development team to design, develop, and maintain Node.js applications for trading infrastructure
