About the Role
You will design and implement testing strategies for REST APIs and backend services, create and maintain automated test suites, and verify new features before release. You will manage, track, and resolve known bugs, identify product issues, and propose improvements to the development team. You will draft and maintain clear testing documentation and help bring a shift-left approach to the QA process. You will collaborate with developers and other stakeholders to ensure QA procedures are consistently followed and that releases meet reliability and security expectations.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in QA, with at least 3 years in Web3
- Strong background in REST API and web application testing
- Proficiency in Git and GitHub (Actions)
- Proficiency in TypeScript
- Experience with Playwright and Postman
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work independently and within a team
- Openness to learning and adapting quickly
- Ideally some experience with Linear and familiarity with QA tools
- Knowledge of emerging technologies in the blockchain space
