About the Role
You'll join an online medical support network supporting thousands of Australians living with chronic conditions. You'll have the flexibility to work from home or from the Sydney office, choosing open shifts that suit your schedule with a minimum commitment of 15 hours a week. You'll conduct telehealth consultations, assessing, screening, diagnosing and prescribing medication for patients as needed. You'll follow platform guidelines and complete required training, and you'll deliver prompt, empathetic and exceptional clinical care to every patient you support.
Requirements
- Australian Citizen / Australian Permanent Resident / Temporary Resident
- PGY4+
- Ability to obtain a provider number to facilitate pathology testing only (no use of MBS attendance item numbers - refer and request only)
- Valid medical indemnity insurance
- Skilled at using technology to deliver care and communicate with patients
- Ability to make timely and accurate referral decisions based on clinical expertise
- Strong communication skills with patients, health professionals and team members
Responsibilities
- Conduct telehealth consultations with patients
- Assess screen diagnose and prescribe medication for patients as necessary
- Adhere to platform guidelines and policies and complete all required training
- Provide prompt and empathetic clinical care to patients
