About Unlock Protocol
Unlock is a protocol developers, creators, and platforms can use to create memberships. Unlock’s goal is to ease implementation and increase conversion from “users” to “members,” creating a much healthier monetization environment for the web. In short, Unlock is an open-source, collectively owned, community-governed, peer-to-peer system that creates time-based memberships.

About the Role
You will write open-source front-end applications using React, styled-components and other open source libraries. You will write tests and documentation, refactor existing code to follow front-end best practices, collaborate with the Developer Evangelist to implement features and developer-facing endpoints, and review and provide feedback on internal and third-party code.
Requirements
- 1+ years experience as an individual contributor software developer, producing production-grade code with tests and documentation
- Extensive JavaScript experience and familiarity with the JavaScript ecosystem on front-end and backend
- User experience design sensibility and an eye for visual harmony
- Experience or experimentation with blockchain, NFT, Ethereum, or web3
- Independent and proactive work style
- Ability to quickly learn and teach new technologies and frameworks
- Excellent communication skills in English
- Experience as maintainer of open source libraries and frameworks
