About the Role
You will draft, negotiate, and manage a wide range of commercial agreements, including vendor, SaaS, partnership, and grant contracts. You will support entity governance and board coordination, maintain cross-entity records, and collaborate with Operations to establish SLAs and internal workflows. You will work with product and engineering to operationalize initiatives and compliance frameworks, coordinate with external counsel on special projects including data protection and employment matters, and develop contract management processes using tools like Ironclad.
Requirements
- J.D. from an accredited law school
- 3–5 years of relevant experience at a law firm or in-house
- Background in corporate or commercial transactions
- Experience with SaaS, fintech, or Web3 preferred
- Strong communication skills and practical judgment
- Attention to detail
- Ability to balance structure with startup agility
- Passion for technology, finance, and decentralized systems
Responsibilities
- Draft, negotiate, and manage commercial agreements
- Support entity governance, board coordination, and cross-entity recordkeeping
- Establish service level agreements (SLA) and internal workflows with Operations
- Operationalize new initiatives and compliance frameworks with product and engineering
- Coordinate external counsel and special legal projects including data protection and employment matters
- Develop and refine contract management and operational compliance processes via Ironclad and other tools
