About the Role

You will own the end-to-end Arabic user experience, including language quality, local UX, content performance, and product readiness. You will lead localization reviews and UX testing, improve AI-assisted localization workflows, collaborate with product and content stakeholders, manage localization projects and vendors, maintain translation assets, and translate customer and market insights into improvements for Arabic-speaking users.

Requirements

• Native fluency in Arabic and business proficiency in English.
• BA or equivalent in translation, linguistics, content marketing, communications, or a related field.
• Experience in Arabic translation, localization, or language quality assurance.
• Experience leading localization projects from inception to completion.
• Experience conducting localization reviews, testing, and language quality initiatives for Arabic-speaking markets.
• Experience using AI and LLM tools in localization workflows, including prompt design, AI output quality assurance, and post-editing.
• Proficiency with Translation Management Systems and Content Management Systems.
• Experience in creative translation and transcreation for Arabic cultural context.
• Collaboration experience with product, design, content, engineering, marketing, and external vendors.
• Ability to conduct market research, gather customer feedback, and provide UI and UX insights.
• Experience assessing and managing language service providers.

Responsibilities

• Lead Arabic language quality initiatives through localization reviews and UX testing.
• Identify linguistic, functional, and cultural discrepancies in the localized product experience.
• Apply and refine LLM prompts and AI workflows for language quality, terminology consistency, and efficiency.
• Evaluate AI output quality and document prompt learnings.
• Connect localization output with content performance and SEO signals.
• Partner with cross-functional stakeholders to ensure a fully localized Arabic experience.
• Lead Arabic localization projects from inception to completion.
• Coordinate stakeholders and external vendors on goals, timelines, and quality standards.
• Research and synthesize Arabic-speaking customer feedback to improve UI, UX, content, and design.
• Assess and manage language service providers and freelancers.
• Maintain Arabic translation assets, including style guides, glossaries, and translation memory.
• Provide Arabic market intelligence on opportunities, threats, and competitor activity.
• Ensure localized content follows brand guidelines and resonates with the Arabic market.
