About the Role
You will design, build, and operate scalable container infrastructure using Kubernetes to support high throughput financial applications. You will contribute to the technical execution of migrating core workloads to Amazon EKS while ensuring zero downtime deployments. You will optimize container lifecycle management, networking infrastructure, and cluster provisioning APIs for multi-region reliability. You will collaborate with engineering teams to integrate core platform capabilities like service mesh, authentication, and load balancing. You will identify performance bottlenecks in production environments and implement automated solutions to enhance platform availability.
Requirements
- Strong proficiency with Kubernetes control plane and data plane components, including container lifecycle management.
- Experience deploying, debugging, and managing large-scale distributed systems or containerized platforms in a production environment.
- Familiarity with cloud infrastructure, specifically AWS services and managed container environments like Amazon EKS.
- Knowledge of container networking concepts, cluster security protocols, and open-source cloud-native tools.
- Ability to plan and execute technical projects systematically while providing technical guidance to team members.
