About the Role
You provide CFO-level financial partnership to critical support functions, including People, Legal, Compliance, Policy, and Finance. You sit at the center of company-wide resource allocation, investment strategy, and long-term financial planning. You partner with multiple C-level executives and their leadership teams to shape how capital is deployed and how operations are scaled, while leading and developing a team of finance professionals.
Requirements
- 8+ years in FP&A, strategic finance, or a combination of these roles (investment banking experience counts), with a significant portion spent in leadership roles at high-growth technology companies.
- At least 2 years of direct people management experience, with a track record of coaching and developing finance professionals.
- Demonstrated success as a strategic partner to C-level executives, with specific examples of influencing company-level strategy, resource allocation, or investment decisions.
- Proven ability to build, maintain, and present complex financial models that drive executive decision-making across multiple functional areas.
- Utilizes generative AI responsibly, maintaining human oversight to deliver business-ready outputs and drive measurable improvements in workflow efficiency, cost, and quality.
Responsibilities
- Own the financial health of multiple functional areas and serve as the primary finance partner to 3+ C-level executives on resource allocation, investment strategy, and long-term planning.
- Drive the finance partnership by identifying and implementing new analytical frameworks, efficiency opportunities, and operational improvements.
- Lead and develop a team of finance professionals, set clear performance expectations, and foster a culture of strategic thinking and continuous improvement.
- Partner cross-functionally with People Legal Compliance Policy and Finance leadership to align on budgets forecasts headcount planning and strategic priorities.
- Shape company-wide investment decisions by building financial models, scenario analyses, and business cases that inform executive decision-making.
- Execute regular financial reporting and variance analysis, translating complex data into actionable insights for senior leadership and the CFO's office.
