About the Role

You will craft and review a wide range of legal work in a fast moving fintech environment. You will draft review and negotiate commercial agreements including B2B contracts SaaS agreements API licensing and payment network agreements such as Visa You will act as the embedded legal advisor to the Product and Engineering teams providing pragmatic actionable advice on the design launch and scaling of card issuing products cross border payments and stablecoin integrations You will navigate complex multi jurisdictional regulatory frameworks relating to payments digital assets and data privacy and assist in obtaining and maintaining financial licenses across key global markets You will provide risk balanced legal guidance that aligns with velocity and agile execution

Requirements

  • Qualified to practice law in a recognized jurisdiction (e.g., Singapore Hong Kong UK US or Australia)
  • 5 to 7 years of PQE at a top tier law firm and/or in house legal department
  • Strong background in commercial product and financial regulatory law
  • Familiarity with global payments corporate credit cards or Web3 blockchain technology preferred

Responsibilities

  • Draft review and negotiate a wide range of commercial agreements including B2B contracts SaaS agreements API licensing and payment network agreements
  • Provide product and engineering teams with pragmatic legal counsel on design launch and scaling of card issuing products across border payments and stablecoin integrations
  • Navigate multi jurisdictional regulatory frameworks relating to payments digital assets and data privacy and assist in obtaining and maintaining financial licenses across key global markets
  • Identify and manage legal risk in business initiatives and partner with commercial teams to develop compliant scalable solutions
