About the Role
You will support the Head of Policy in developing regulatory and legislative engagement plans and advising senior leadership on key issues. You will monitor, analyze, and interpret federal and state regulatory and legislative developments, assess their impact, and help craft rapid responses. You will build and maintain relationships with policymakers, regulators, industry associations, and other stakeholders, represent the organization in policy discussions and industry meetings, and prepare policy briefings, comment letters, testimony, and advocacy materials. You will serve as a thought leader on crypto topics, consult with internal and external clients, and leverage AI and automation tools to improve productivity and decision-making.
Requirements
- 4+ years of professional experience working in financial services policy
- Advanced degree preferred in public policy, law, business, or a related field
- Experience working on digital assets in Congress or with market or prudential regulators strongly preferred
- Strong understanding of federal and state legislative and regulatory processes related to digital assets and financial services
- Strong knowledge of the digital asset ecosystem and policy issues
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with ability to explain complex topics clearly
- Ability to self-direct and drive projects with minimal supervision and manage time effectively
