About the Role

You will support the development and ongoing improvement of the AFC compliance program. You will identify gaps, test existing and new controls, report risk indicators, and support initiatives that strengthen the AFC framework. Working closely with Risk Product Operations and Technology teams you will contribute to building scalable risk based AFC solutions in line with regulatory expectations across multiple jurisdictions.

Requirements

  • University degree in Law, Business, Economics, Finance, or a related field.
  • Strong analytical and problem solving skills with the ability to interpret structured data and translate insights into risk-based recommendations and compliance improvements.
  • Experience with data extraction and analysis using SQL or other programming languages is a strong advantage.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English; professional proficiency in German is considered a strong asset.
  • Interest in financial crime prevention and previous experience in Compliance, AFC, AML, KYC, sanctions screening, or related roles within financial institutions, fintechs, or cryptocurrency exchanges is highly desirable.

Responsibilities

  • Execute periodic AFC related controls and assist with testing and validation of AFC related features and developments, documenting outcomes, identifying issues, and supporting implementation cycles with relevant teams.
  • Identify, assess, and map gaps within AFC compliance processes, systems, and controls by analyzing workflows, regulatory requirements, and internal standards.
  • Raise, track, and follow up on remediation actions, helping ensure findings are addressed in a timely manner and appropriately documented.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders including Product Engineering and Operations to support requirement definition, testing activities, and the maintenance of AFC program documentation.
  • Assist in monitoring regulatory developments and contribute to the implementation of AFC compliance enhancements where required.
